2010 – Let’s go to SalumiAmo

In 2010 SalumiAmo® Europe stops off in London. The campaign has been opened by a press conference at the Haymarket hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel close to Piccadilly Circus.The exceptional figure head for the campaign is Giorgio Locatelli, a Michelin-starred celebrity chef who hosts many famous stars among his clients and who was considered the most important Italian chef in England. Also the young kitchen talent Francesco Mazzei, by now well established in London, could be involved for the promotion of the campaign. The opening event was hosted at the restaurant Refettorio, one of the popular venues of Giorgio Locatelli.

In the month of June the ´Aperitivi´ SalumiAmo® were the main event in six trendy venues chosen for offering themselves high quality food and thus attracting a certain style of customer and situated in locations in which the Happy Hour is already celebrated. The venues were: 1 Lombard Street – a brasserie located in a former bank in the City, Mews of Mayfair – in the trendy quarter of Mayfair, The Anthologist – a cocktail back, restaurant and after-work venue in the middle of the City, The Living Room – located in an area famous for its restaurant scene, Raoul´s – in the neighborhood of Notting Hill which achieved fame for the eponymous movie, Dover Street – favourite location for the lovers of live music. At last followed a week of tastings at the historic Partridge’s, a renowned delicatessen shop in King’s Road.

2002 – the Italian meat products meet the English press

In 2002 the IVSI presented the Italian deli meat products in London during the press meeting of the local Italian Trade Agency (ITA). Invited to the event were around thirty journalists of editorial teams caring of culinary, gastronomic and womanly topics highly interested in the contribution of professor Giovanni Ballarini, nutritional antropologist and great expert of Italian deli meat products. His presentation included informations on the history and high quality of our products, told by his famous anecdotes. Following the event a publication on Italian deli meat products was launched one year later.
